Application Process
1. Schengen visa application form.Fill in the form completely with English letters, fill in the contact details, cell phone number and email address in order to receive consular notifications in a timely manner; use Chinese characters to sign in the signature field, minors should be signed by their legal guardians on their behalf; paste a white background ID photo (26-35mm wide and 32-45mm high) of the last 6 months.
2. Passport.Passport must be valid for at least 3 months after the planned date of departure from the Schengen area and must have 2 or more blank pages. A copy of the passport information page as well as a copy of the old visa should be submitted.
3. Household register or residence permit or social security card.Be located in the consular district (Guangdong, Fujian, Guizhou, Hainan, Hunan, Yunnan and Guangxi). If you are a foreigner, you should submit your residence permit in the consular district.
4. Original letter of invitation from a Spanish company or institution (Spanish is preferred), stamped, signed by the person in charge and indicating the following information: full address and contact number of the company, name and position of the inviter. It must also indicate the purpose of the visit, the schedule and the dates. The situation must describe the purpose of the trip, the past business of the company, and the past business relationship with the inviting company.
- To participate in the exhibition, you must indicate that the invitees are exhibitors or buyers.
- As an exhibitor, a confirmation letter of booth information is required.
- As a purchaser, you must provide an invitation letter to the exhibition.
- To participate in the seminar, you must provide a letter of invitation from the organizer, which must include details of the event.
5. Proof of employment with a Chinese company (original and translation into Spanish), which must indicate:
- Wages
- Relevant positions held
- Social insurance situation
- Purpose of the visit and duration of stay
- The party responsible for the costs of travel and stay in Spain
- Related Booking Information
- Proof of employment should be signed by the person in charge, with the company seal, and the information of the inviting company should also be stated
6. A copy of the Chinese company's business license, translated into Spanish or English.
7. Travel Medical Insurance.The insurance is required to cover the entire period of stay and the entire Schengen area for repatriation expenses due to medical treatment or death, emergency medical services or emergency hospitalization services. The minimum coverage is 30,000 Euros or the equivalent in local currency.
Cautions
- Who will apply for the visa:The visa application is to be submitted by the applicant in person. In the case of a minor, the legal guardian will accompany the applicant.
- Submission Location:Applications must be submitted at the Visa Center and appointments must be made in advance.
- Visa Application Deadline:Visa applications must be submitted between 6 months and 15 days prior to the planned travel date.
- Take biometric dataApplicants under 12 years of age and applicants whose fingerprints have been taken within the past 59 months are exempt from fingerprinting, but if the quality of the fingerprints is not good, the applicant will be required to appear again for fingerprinting. - Material Retroactive:The consulate may request the applicant to submit additional documents or come for an interview. Additional documents must be submitted within 10 working days, after which the application will be considered abandoned.
- Hearing time:The legal deadline for issuing the visa result is 15 natural days from the date of submission of the application, which can be extended to 45 natural days when additional documents are requested or an interview is conducted.
