Hannover Messe, the world's leading trade fair for industrial technology, is introducing a new theme of "Industrial Transformation" and a new exhibition program in response to the digital era. With the advent of the digital transformation era and the accelerating evolution of the industry, Hannover Messe must keep pace. With its new exhibition layout, the fair will strengthen its unique position as the world's leading trade fair brand for industrial technology.
Dr. Jochen Köckler, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Messe Hannover, Germany, said: "Hannover Messe has developed into a globally recognized brand event. In order to further enhance the branding of the fair, we will no longer use sub-brands such as CeMAT, Digital Factory or IAMD for fair promotion purposes in the future. Our new exhibition program will have a clear focus on key themes in each core area, reflecting the role of Hannover Messe as a driver of industrial transformation."
After the restructuring, Hannover Messe will exhibit in the following six categories.
Automation, Power & Drives: covers factory, process and energy automation; electromechanical power transmission and fluid power; robotics; industrial sensor technology and image processing; transformers; energy management; logistics automation and warehouse technology. Dr. Köckler mentioned: "Automation plays a fundamental role in promoting the deep integration of industry. Hannover Messe's automation-related content is mainly presented throughout the eastern and southern parts of the venue, covering all the key elements driving industrial transformation, while also ensuring optimal visitor flow and maximum convenience for visitors and exhibitors seeking solutions."
Digital Ecosystem (Halls 14-17): Focusing on digital integration and industrial applications, covering topics such as business software, PLM, MES, logistics IT, digital platforms and cloud solutions, IT security, augmented and virtual reality, energy management solutions, artificial intelligence and 5G infrastructure. Digital technologies are crucial for industrial transformation," said Dr. Koeckler. Digital technology is present in all other areas of Hannover Messe and will be a highlight in the core area of the exhibition center."
Energy Solutions: Focuses on providing efficient, climate-neutral energy supplies for industrial buildings, factories, and connected mobile infrastructure, covering topics such as power generation and transmission, electricity, hydrogen and fuel cells, cooling and heating technologies, and electric vehicle infrastructure.
Industrial Components: Provides a platform for networking on future-defining topics covering lightweight construction, additive manufacturing technologies, surface treatment technologies, specific material components, fastening systems and engineering services.
Innovative Technologies and the Future of Production: Focus on R&D, startups, emerging technologies, innovation culture and the future of work. Dr. Koeckler said, "The Northwest Showcase area of the pavilion is where our innovation hotspots come together, where startups and research institutions collide to spark ideas, and where large companies meet young talent and distinctive thinkers. The Innovative Technologies and Future Production sub-pavilion provides insight into the future of our industry."
Logistics: covers logistics and warehousing technology; warehouse and plant equipment; industrial trucks and accessories; automated guided vehicles; packaging technology and logistics services.
