The Vancouver International Building Materials Show was founded in 1989 by InformaCanada International Exhibitions, Inc. and is held annually in Vancouver, Canada. The show brings together buyers of all kinds of building materials (hospitals, schools, office buildings, residences), retailers and building service industry experts, etc. It has accumulated valuable market resources during its development over the years and has a great influence in the North American building materials market. The show annually showcases products and related maintenance technologies and services in the three major construction sectors: commercial, industrial and residential. Due to its wide international participation, exhibitors have achieved excellent results. For this reason the Canadian embassies also promote the show heavily in countries around the world.
