IMTEX & TOOLTECH is a large international professional exhibition organized by the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers Association, which has a history of more than 40 years. The exhibition is one of the largest professional exhibitions of machine tools in South Asia and Southeast Asia.

In recent years, due to the huge demand of Indian machine tool market, Indian Machine Tool Association decided to divide the exhibition into two themes of metal cutting machines and tools (IMTEX METALCUTTING & TOOLTECH) and forming machines and tools (IMTEX-FORMING & TOOLTECH) from 2009 onwards, and the exhibition was changed from once every three years to once every year. The two themes are exhibited separately in alternate years, with the theme of metal cutting machine tools and tools in odd years and forming machine tools and tools in even years. The theme of this exhibition is molding machine tools and tools, the exhibits mainly include metal molding, plastic molding, other materials molding (such as ceramics, composite materials, etc.) and tool accessories four parts. Visitors will come from the automotive, defense, aerospace, railroad, household appliances, electrical and electronic, printing machinery, textile machinery, food processing equipment, industrial machinery, agricultural machinery, plastic products, computer peripherals, pumps, diesel engines and other related industries.
